Walker Tape Ultra Hold Wig Glue - Multiple Sizes

Professional-strength brush-on adhesive for hair systems. Maximum bond strength for extended wear.

Walker Tape Ultra Hold is a professional-strength, brush-on adhesive designed for hair system wearers who prioritise maximum bond strength and extended wear duration. It's a firm, solvent-based formula that creates a strong, durable bond, the kind that professionals have trusted for decades.

Ultra Hold is best suited to wearers who are comfortable with their application routine, use a scalp protector, and want the longest possible bond between maintenance sessions. In cooler, drier conditions it's one of the strongest performers available. In hot and humid conditions, pairing it with a scalp protector is key to getting the most from the formula.

Key features

       Professional-strength brush-on formula - precise, controlled application

Maximum hold duration - designed for extended wear between maintenance

Works on all hair system base types - lace, poly, mono, skin

Dries to a firm, clear finish

Trusted by professionals for consistent, reliable performance

Is Ultra Hold right for me

Ultra Hold is the adhesive for wearers who've worked through softer-hold products and want to step up to something stronger. If you're new to hair systems, we'd recommend starting with GhostBond Supreme to get familiar with application and removal before moving to a stronger formula.

For active wearers in hot Australian climates, GhostBond Platinum may actually deliver better results than Ultra Hold in summer - the water-based formula handles heat and sweat differently. Ultra Hold shines in cooler conditions and when combined with proper scalp prep.

Benny’s Notes - Ultra hold glue has been personally tried and tested by me, A hair professional with over a decade of experience  and a hair system wearer for several years to see if it holds up to Australian conditions, such as the harsh heat of summer, the days at the pool or beach and a solid session at the gym. This is always a staple in my personal and professional hair system maintenance kit at the barbershop.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape Scalp Protector - essential for best results with Ultra Hold, especially in warmer Australian weather

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - Benny recommends this remover for Ultra Hold residue

Walker Tape Bond Breaker Shampoo - the best exfoliating shampoo on the market for thorough post-removal cleanup

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
