GhostBond Classic Wig Glue - Multiple Sizes by Professional Hair Labs

The original GhostBond formula. The water-based adhesive that started a generation of hair system wearers on GhostBond.

GhostBond Classic is where it all began - the original formula that established GhostBond as one of the most trusted names in hair system adhesives. It is a water-based adhesive that delivers a reliable, consistent bond for everyday hair system wearers, and it remains a solid choice for wearers who know Classic, trust Classic, and see no reason to change.

For wearers new to the GhostBond range, Classic is the baseline formula from which Supreme, Platinum, and XL were developed. It provides a dependable everyday bond in standard conditions, a good starting point for anyone curious about water-based adhesives who has not tried GhostBond before.

Key features

Original GhostBond formula - the foundation of the Professional Hair Labs adhesive range

Water-based - gentler on skin and more moisture-resistant than solvent adhesives

Reliable everyday hold for standard conditions

Dries clear - undetectable at the hairline

Compatible with lace, poly, mono, and skin base systems

       Available in multiple sizes

Classic vs Supreme — which should I choose

GhostBond Supreme is the upgraded version of Classic - stronger hold, better moisture resistance, and more consistent performance in Australian conditions. For most new wearers, we would recommend starting with Supreme rather than Classic as it is a better representation of what the GhostBond formula can do. Classic remains a valid choice for wearers who prefer the original formula or find it meets their needs at a slightly friendlier price point.

Pairs well with

GhostBond Scalp Protector - extends hold in warm or humid conditions

GhostBuster Remover - purpose-made removal partner for all GhostBond formulas

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - versatile alternative remover

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
