GhostBond Glow-Up Light Hold Wig Glue - 38ml by Professional Hair Labs

A light-hold GhostBond formula for wearers who prefer frequent, easy maintenance cycles. Simple to apply and simple to remove.

GhostBond Glow-Up is a light-hold adhesive designed for wearers who prefer shorter wear cycles and easy, frequent maintenance. Where Supreme, Platinum, and XL are designed to hold for as long as possible, Glow-Up is calibrated for wearers who want to refresh their bond regularly, whether that is a personal preference, a professional requirement, or simply a lifestyle that involves frequent system removal.

As a water-based GhostBond formula, Glow-Up brings the same gentle chemistry and clear finish as the rest of the range, in a lighter tack that makes application and removal both quick and straightforward. It is a good first GhostBond product for wearers transitioning from tape who want to start with something forgiving.

Key features

Light-hold formula - ideal for frequent maintenance and shorter wear cycles

Water-based - gentle on skin and easy to remove

Quick, clean application with minimal fuss

Dries clear - invisible at the hairline

Good starting point for wearers new to brush-on adhesives

Who is Glow-Up best for

Glow-Up suits wearers who prefer to change or reapply their system every few days, those new to adhesives who want something forgiving to practice with, and wearers whose skin benefits from shorter contact time. If you find yourself wanting longer hold as your confidence and routine develop, Supreme or Platinum are the natural step up.

Pairs well with

GhostBuster Remover - quick, clean removal to match the light-hold bond

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - alternative for thorough residue cleanup

GhostBond Supreme - when you are ready to step up to a longer hold

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
