Professional Hair Labs Phantom Wig Glue - 38ml

A specialist water-based adhesive designed for maximum invisibility at the hairline. Ideal for wearers who prioritise an undetectable finish.

Phantom by Professional Hair Labs is formulated with one primary goal: disappearing completely at the hairline. Named for its near-invisible finish, Phantom is a water-based adhesive designed for wearers who prioritise an absolutely undetectable bond above all other performance metrics.

Where other adhesives balance hold strength, wear duration, and moisture resistance, Phantom focuses on delivering the cleanest possible hairline finish - the adhesive that disappears so completely you forget it is there. It is a specialist product for wearers who have found their bond strong enough but want to refine the aesthetics of their hairline to the highest possible standard.

Key features

Maximum invisibility - designed to disappear completely at the hairline

Water-based formula - gentle on skin and resistant to moisture

Clean, flat finish - no white residue or visible adhesive once dry

Works well on lace bases where hairline aesthetics matter most

Gentle enough for regular use on sensitive hairline skin

38ml - practical size for testing and regular use

When to choose Phantom

Phantom is the right choice when your bond strength is adequate but your hairline aesthetics are not quite where you want them. If you have a strong hold formula you are happy with but notice adhesive is visible at the hairline under certain lighting or when wearing your hair up, Phantom is worth trying as a perimeter adhesive applied at the hairline where aesthetics matter most, with your stronger adhesive used further back on the system.

Pairs well with

GhostBond Platinum or Supreme - use Phantom at the hairline, GhostBond for the main bond

GhostBuster Remover - gentle removal for a product used on a sensitive perimeter area

GhostBond Scalp Protector - prep the hairline skin before applying Phantom

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
