Ultra Safe Adhesive Remover - Multiple Sizes

A skin-safe, low-irritation adhesive remover for hair systems, ideal for sensitive scalps and frequent use.

Ultra Safe Adhesive Remover is Professional Hair Labs' most skin-friendly remover, engineered for wearers who need effective adhesive removal with the absolute minimum risk of scalp irritation. If you've had reactions to standard solvents or if your scalp is particularly sensitive, Ultra Safe is the formula designed with you in mind.

Despite its gentle profile, Ultra Safe is still an effective remover. It breaks down hair system adhesive and tape residue thoroughly, it just does so with a milder formula that's less likely to cause redness, dryness, or irritation on sensitive skin.

Key features

Formulated for maximum skin safety - minimal irritation risk

Suitable for very sensitive scalps and frequent maintenance cycles

Effective on all common hair system adhesives and tape residue

Compatible with lace, poly, mono, and skin base systems

No harsh solvents - gentle enough for regular, frequent use

Who should use Ultra Safe

Ultra Safe is ideal for wearers who have experienced redness, itching, or irritation with standard removers (C22, Action, alcohol-based solvents). It's also a good choice for wearers with known skin sensitivities, those who do very frequent reapplications, or anyone who simply prefers the most skin-friendly option available. If you're unsure which remover is right for you, Ultra Safe is the safest starting point.

Pairs well with

GhostBond Supreme or Platinum - all GhostBond formulas respond well to Ultra Safe

Walker Tape Bond Breaker Shampoo - complete the removal routine with a thorough shampoo

GhostBond Scalp Protector - protect sensitive skin before your next adhesive application

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
