Walker Tape Top-Loc Knot Sealer Spray - 120ml

A specialist spray that seals the knots on lace hair systems, preventing shedding and extending system life.

Top-Loc Knot Sealer is a specialist product for lace hair system wearers, a spray formula that coats and seals the hand-tied knots on lace bases to prevent shedding and extend the working life of the system. If you have noticed increased hair shedding from a lace system over time, unsealed or loosening knots are often the cause, and Top-Loc addresses this directly.

It is particularly valuable for wearers with higher-activity lifestyles where the hair system is exposed to more stress, friction, and washing, conditions that gradually loosen knots and accelerate shedding. Regular application of Top-Loc helps maintain the integrity of the lace base and keeps the system looking its best for longer.

Key features

Seals hand-tied knots on lace hair system bases

Reduces hair shedding and extends system lifespan

Spray format - even, controlled application to the lace base

Particularly effective for active wearers and frequent washing

Compatible with all lace base hair systems

120ml - enough for multiple applications over time

How to use Top-Loc

Turn the hair system inside out to expose the lace base. Lightly spray Top-Loc across the inside of the lace, focusing on areas where shedding is occurring or where knots appear loose. Allow to dry completely before turning the system right-side out or applying it to the scalp. Do not over-apply - a light, even coat is more effective than a heavy one. Reapply as needed, typically every few wash cycles.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape Lace Front Tape - used on the same lace systems that benefit from knot sealing

Pro Series Shampoo - gentle washing extends the life of sealed knots

Pro Series Leave-in Conditioner - gentle daily care that reduces stress on the lace base

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
