Extreme Hold Wig Glue Brush-On - Multiple Sizes by Walker Tape

Walker Tape's strongest brush-on adhesive. Maximum bond strength for experienced wearers who need the longest hold.

Walker Tape Extreme Hold is the strongest brush-on adhesive in the Walker Tape lineup, built for wearers who need maximum bond strength and the longest possible time between maintenance sessions. This is a product for experienced wearers who know their application routine and have the right removal tools to match.

Extreme Hold creates a firm, durable bond that is deliberately aggressive, designed to hold through demanding conditions, active lifestyles, and extended wear cycles. Proper scalp preparation, careful application, and a good solvent for removal are all non-negotiable when using this formula.

Key features

Strongest brush-on adhesive in the Walker Tape range

Maximum bond strength - designed for the longest hold durations

Brush-on applicator - precise, controlled application

For experienced wearers with established application and removal routines

Works on poly, mono, and skin base systems

       Available in multiple sizes

Important - Extreme Hold requires proper technique and the right remover

Do not use Extreme Hold without a proper adhesive solvent for removal. Attempting to remove without C22 or Rapid Release risks pulling on the hair system base or causing scalp irritation. Scalp preparation with Scalp Protector before application is strongly recommended. This is not a starter adhesive - if you are new to brush-on glues, begin with Ultra Hold or Great White Pro before stepping up to Extreme Hold.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape Scalp Protector or Max Hold Sport - essential prep before Extreme Hold

Walker Tape Rapid Release - fastest removal tool for Extreme Hold bonds

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - for thorough residue cleanup after removal

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
