Walker Tape Great White Water Based Long Hold Adhesive — Multiple Sizes

A reliable water-based white adhesive for long-hold hair systems. Dries clear, strong bond, gentle formula.

Walker Tape Great White is a long-hold, water-based adhesive trusted by hair system wearers and professionals for its reliable performance and straightforward application. The white formula makes it easy to see your coverage during application, giving you confidence that the adhesive is applied evenly - before drying to a completely clear finish.

As a water-based adhesive, Great White is gentler on the skin than solvent-based formulas, easier to remove, and more forgiving for wearers still developing their application technique. It provides a strong, long-lasting bond that suits daily wear and moderate activity.

Key features

Water-based formula - gentler on skin, easier to remove than solvent adhesives

White during application, dries completely clear

Long hold - suitable for extended wear between maintenance sessions

Works on lace, poly, mono, and skin base systems

More forgiving application than solvent-based glues - good for developing wearers

       Available in multiple sizes

Who is Great White best for

Great White is a good choice for wearers who are moving from tape to glue for the first time, or those who prefer water-based chemistry and want a reliable long-hold option. The white-to-clear formula makes application practice more intuitive than clear adhesives where coverage is harder to assess. Once you are confident, Great White Pro offers even longer hold with the same formula base.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape Scalp Protector - extends hold and protects skin

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - for complete, clean residue removal

Walker Tape Bond Breaker Shampoo - follow removal with this for a thorough scalp clean

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
