Walker Tape Lace Release - Multiple Sizes

A gentle, alcohol-based remover designed specifically for lace hair systems. Removes adhesive cleanly without damaging the lace.

Walker Tape Lace Release is a specialist adhesive remover formulated for the unique needs of lace hair systems. While C22 and Action work well across all system types, Lace Release is specifically designed to dissolve adhesive at the poly or lace perimeter without penetrating or damaging the delicate lace base itself.

It's an alcohol-based formula that works quickly on the bond at the lace edge, ideal for wearers who value precision during removal and want to protect their investment in a quality lace system. The spray nozzle allows targeted application right where the bond is, without flooding the lace with solvent.

Key features

Designed specifically for lace hair systems - gentle on lace base material

Alcohol-based formula breaks down adhesive at the lace perimeter precisely

Spray nozzle for targeted application - no excess solvent on the hair

Fast-acting - adhesive releases cleanly within 30–60 seconds

Compatible with lace front wigs and full lace hair systems

When to use Lace Release vs C22

C22 is the more versatile of the two and works well on lace systems when used carefully. Lace Release is the more precise tool. Its spray delivery and targeted formula make it easier to apply directly to the bond without affecting the hair or the lace itself. If you have a delicate or expensive lace system, Lace Release adds an extra layer of protection during removal.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape Lace Front Tape - Lace Release is the perfect removal partner for lace tape

Walker Tape Bond Breaker Shampoo - for thorough cleanup after removal

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - use Lace Release for the removal, C22 for residue cleanup if needed

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
