Walker Tape Mity-Tite Light Hold Costume Glue - Multiple Sizes

A light-hold brush-on adhesive for temporary or daily-wear hair systems. Easy to apply and easy to remove.

Walker Tape Mity-Tite is a light-hold, brush-on adhesive designed for wearers who prefer frequent, easy maintenance over extended bond duration. Its gentle tack creates a secure enough hold for daily wear while remaining easy to remove cleanly - no aggressive solvent or lengthy removal process required.

Mity-Tite is often the first brush-on glue that new wearers try when transitioning from tape to adhesive. The light hold removes the anxiety of a first-time glue application - if placement is not quite right, the bond is forgiving enough to adjust, and the removal process is straightforward. It also works well for wearers who simply prefer shorter cycles and more frequent maintenance as part of their routine.

Key features

Light-hold formula - ideal for daily wear and beginners

Easy to apply evenly with brush-on applicator

Simple, clean removal - less solvent required than stronger adhesives

Good for lace, poly, and skin base hair systems

Available in 15ml and larger sizes - start small to test the formula

Mity-Tite vs Ultra Hold - which is right for me

Mity-Tite and Ultra Hold sit at opposite ends of the Walker Tape brush-on glue range. Mity-Tite is light and forgiving - great for beginners, daily maintenance preferences, and wearers who prioritise easy removal. Ultra Hold is strong and durable, great for experienced wearers who want maximum bond life and are comfortable with solvent removal. Most wearers who start on Mity-Tite eventually move to a stronger formula as their confidence builds, but some find the lighter hold suits their lifestyle long-term.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - even light-hold adhesive removes cleanly with C22

Walker Tape Natural Hold Tape - combine light-hold tape and glue for a forgiving beginner setup

GhostBond Supreme - if you want to step up to a stronger but still water-based adhesive

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
