Walker Tape Natural Hold Wig Tape - Multiple Sizes

A daily-wear hair system tape designed for easy removal and gentle hold. Great for beginners and sensitive scalps.

Walker Tape Natural Hold is a gentle, daily-wear hair system tape designed for wearers who prioritise easy removal, scalp comfort, and a natural-feeling bond over maximum hold duration. It's a favourite among beginners and those with sensitive skin, reliable enough to wear with confidence, gentle enough to remove without fuss.

Where stronger tapes like Ultra Hold or Extenda-Bond aim for the longest possible wear time, Natural Hold is calibrated for wearers who prefer frequent, easy maintenance cycles. It bonds securely for daily activity without the aggressive tack that can make removal uncomfortable or time-consuming.

Key features

Gentle hold - strong enough for daily wear, easy enough for simple removal

Scalp-friendly formula - ideal for sensitive skin and regular maintenance cycles

Low residue - cleans up quickly with S3 Sensitive solvent

Works on poly, skin, and mono base hair systems

Available in multiple widths and lengths to suit different application styles

Who should use Natural Hold Tape

Natural Hold is the ideal starting point if you're new to hair system tape. Its forgiving tack makes application practice less stressful, and removal is straightforward even without perfect technique. It's also a good long-term choice for wearers who prefer shorter wear cycles and more frequent maintenance, or those whose scalp reacts to stronger adhesives.

Benny’s Notes - Natural hold tape has been personally tried and tested by me,  A hair professional with over a decade of experience  and a hair system wearer for several years to see if it holds up to Australian conditions. this is my go-to option for about 75% of the time - easy install with the ability to make adjustments without compromising the system or your scalp, virtually NO residue when you remove it, so clean up is a breeze. This is always a staple in my personal and professional hair system maintenance kit at the barbershop.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape S3 Sensitive Solvent - for clean, quick tape removal

Walker Tape Bond Breaker Shampoo - for a thorough scalp clean and scrub

GhostBond Supreme - if you want to combine tape at the perimeter with glue on the hairline for a truely undetectable look

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
