Walker Tape Rapid Release Spray Adhesive Remover - 350ml

A fast-acting spray remover for professional-speed hair system maintenance. Breaks down adhesive bonds rapidly for efficient removal

Rapid Release is Walker Tape's fastest-acting adhesive remover, a spray formula engineered for professional-speed removal of hair system adhesive bonds. Where standard solvents like C22 require 30–60 seconds of contact time, Rapid Release is designed to break down the bond more quickly, making it the preferred tool for busy salon environments and wearers who value efficiency in their maintenance routine.

The spray format delivers the solvent evenly across the bond area without the need for precise dropper or brush application, practical when working quickly or across a large bond area. The 350ml size reflects its primary audience: professionals and high-frequency users who go through remover regularly.

Key features

Fast-acting formula - designed for quicker bond release than standard solvents

Spray format - even coverage across the bond area without precise application tools

       350ml - professional and high-use quantity

Works on adhesive glue and tape residue

Compatible with all Walker Tape and GhostBond adhesives

Ideal for salon professionals doing multiple clients back-to-back

Rapid Release vs C22 - which should I use

C22 is the more versatile all-rounder and works well for most at-home wearers. Rapid Release is the tool when speed is the priority - professional environments, back-to-back client sessions, or wearers who want their maintenance routine to be as efficient as possible. Many salons stock both: Rapid Release for the main removal, C22 for residue cleanup and general use.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - use Rapid Release for initial removal, C22 for residue

Walker Tape Bond Breaker Shampoo - complete the removal with a thorough shampoo

Any Walker Tape adhesive - compatible across the full range

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
