Walker Tape Ultra Hold Pro Wig Glue Brush-On - Multiple Sizes

An upgraded Ultra Hold formula with enhanced moisture resistance. Professional-strength brush-on for demanding conditions.

Walker Tape Ultra Hold Pro is the evolution of the classic Ultra Hold formula, the same professional-strength brush-on adhesive that stylists have trusted for decades, upgraded with enhanced moisture resistance to handle more demanding conditions. If you have relied on Ultra Hold and want better performance in heat, humidity, or during activity, Ultra Hold Pro is the step up.

Like the original Ultra Hold, Pro uses a brush-on applicator for precise, controlled application. The enhanced formula builds on that proven foundation with improved resistance to the conditions that typically challenge solvent-based adhesives in Australian climates.

Key features

Enhanced moisture resistance over standard Ultra Hold formula

       Professional-strength brush-on - precise application, no waste

Strong, durable bond for extended wear between maintenance

Works on all hair system base types - lace, poly, mono, skin

Dries clear for a natural, undetectable finish

       Available in 15ml and 40ml

Ultra Hold vs Ultra Hold Pro - which should I choose

If you are happy with standard Ultra Hold in cooler or drier conditions, it remains an excellent adhesive. Ultra Hold Pro is the better choice if you have found the standard formula occasionally struggles during warmer months, higher activity, or more humid environments. The Pro formula's improved moisture resistance addresses exactly those conditions without changing the brush-on application experience you are already familiar with.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape Max Hold Sport Scalp Protector - for active wearers who need maximum sweat control

Walker Tape Scalp Protector - essential prep before any Ultra Hold formula

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - the recommended remover for Ultra Hold Pro

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
