Walker Tape Ultra Hold Wig Tape - Multiple Sizes

Maximum-strength hair system tape for extended wear up to 4 weeks. For experienced wearers who need the strongest bond.

Walker Tape Ultra Hold Tape is the strongest tape in the Walker Tape lineup — built for wearers who need maximum bond duration and aren't willing to compromise on hold strength. In good conditions, Ultra Hold can last up to 4 weeks, making it the tape of choice for wearers who want the longest time possible between maintenance sessions.

This is a tape for experienced wearers. Its high-tack adhesive creates a firm, durable bond that handles daily wear, activity, and moderate perspiration reliably — but removal requires a good solvent and proper technique. If you're new to hair system tape, we'd recommend starting with Natural Hold or Extenda-Bond Plus before stepping up to Ultra Hold.

Key features

Maximum hold strength — the strongest tape in the Walker Tape range

Extended wear duration — up to 4 weeks in ideal conditions

Holds securely through daily activity and moderate perspiration

Works on poly, mono, and skin base systems

       Available in multiple widths

Important: removal requires proper technique

Due to its high-tack formula, Ultra Hold Tape requires a proper adhesive solvent for removal. Do not attempt to remove without C22 or another appropriate solvent, this risks pulling on the hair system base or causing scalp irritation. Apply C22, allow adequate time for the bond to soften, then lift slowly. Never rush Ultra Hold removal.

Getting the best from Ultra Hold in Australian conditions

Ultra Hold performs at its best in moderate temperatures. In extreme heat (outdoor work in summer, tropical climates), the bond may soften faster than expected. Pairing Ultra Hold with a scalp protector and ensuring the scalp is completely clean and dry before application will give you the best hold duration in Australian conditions.

Pairs well with

Walker Tape C22 Solvent - essential for clean, safe removal of Ultra Hold tape

Walker Tape Scalp Protector - extends hold duration in warm or humid conditions

Walker Tape Bond Breaker Shampoo - for thorough scalp cleaning post-removal

Benny's Notes

All Walker tape & Professional Hair Labs products sold by Liberty Hair Co. have been personally tried and tested by me (Benny) and with clients in my barbershops to see if they hold up to Australian conditions. If you have any questions regarding products, how to use them, what to expect or wish to try something new and would like a sample (if we have it available for sample) please reach out.

FAQs

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get! The answer is it is up to the wearer. In my experience, tape is easier for self install and removal. Glue is best for prolonged wear (3-5 weeks). I personally use tape more often than glue as I change my system frequently and prefer the freedom of doing so without a big clean up. My advice would be to try both options and decide what works best for you.

Both are water-based adhesives made by Professional Hair Labs,
but they're designed for different conditions. Supreme is the all-rounder - strong, comfortable, lower shine, great for most Australian wearers in everyday conditions.
Platinum is engineered for oily scalps, heavy sweating, and high humidity. If
you're in a tropical climate or sweat heavily, in my experience, Platinum will typically
outperform Supreme.

Yes - GhostBond as well as ultra hold glue is commonly used on lace, poly, and mono base systems. For lace systems, apply adhesive directly to the scalp only.
Many wearers use a combination glue at the hairline and tape around the perimeter of the system for the best balance of security and natural hairline appearance.

Yes - C22 is safe for all common hair system base types when used as directed. Apply it to the bond rather than soaking the system, as this can lead to the hair drying out and rinse thoroughly after the residue is removed.

A typical removal session uses 5–10ml depending on the area
covered and the type of adhesive used. The 118ml bottle gives you roughly 12–20
removal sessions; the 350ml gives you 35–70 sessions. If you're a professional
doing multiple clients, the 350ml is by far the better value.
